Understanding your needs

Making contact with us is the first step with every enquiry. Tell us your requirements and our team will be in touch to discuss the scope of the enquiry, and the technical details that will be required to provide you with a solution.

Establishing your solution

  • Designing you a new system

You may be moving from using bagged ingredients to an FIBC system or a silo fed system to benefit from economies of scale, installing a brand new line, or experience a significant shift in your change in demands or business focus that means your existing equipment is now obsolete.

Now may be the time for a clean-sheet solution; a visit by a Project Manager will help clarify the options available to you. We will visit and survey your site, discuss your requirements, and put together a bespoke proposal for you to approve.

We will manage the full project for you, through detail design, manufacture, site management, electrical and mechanical installation and assembly, software, testing, commissioning, and training, all whilst keeping you regularly up-to-date with progress.

Your solution may cross a number of process areas. We have great collaborative relationships with providers of downstream systems, meaning you can benefit from a single point of contact for your project.

Alternatively, we can work as a sub-contractor as part of larger works taking place on site.

  • Modifying your existing system

You may have an existing system, but have your needs changed? Is it still reliable? Are you looking to increase your capacity? Has a regulation change caused issues?

Just because what you want from your system has changed, does not always mean that it needs removing and replacing; often we can modify your existing equipment to meet your new requirements.

Book a Project Manager visit, and we will visit and survey your site, discuss your requirements, and put together a bespoke proposal for you to approve.

We will manage the modifications for you, allowing you to concentrate on the day-to-day running of your site. Once completed, we will commission the system, ensure your operators are trained on its proper usage, and provide all the supporting documentation.

  • Servicing your system

Your system needs regular servicing to ensure it is operating efficiency, protect quality, and to prevent breakdowns and loss of production.

For cost and time effectiveness, a Full Annual Service is your best option. Ask us for an Annual Service Quotation, and we will survey your site to establish the work that is needed. You will receive a tailored quotation with options for cleaning, servicing, calibrations, testing and certifying your system.

Ad-hoc servicing is more suitable in one-off situations, or where you already have contractors or in-house engineers servicing some equipment already. Request an Ad-Hoc Service.  An ad-hoc service may be:

    • Blower/Exhauster servicing
    • Dehumidifier servicing
    • Rotary valve servicing
    • Sifter servicing
    • Silo filter changes
    • Weigh hopper filter changes

You will receive a report of the works undertaken and certification for each of the pieces of equipment serviced.

  • Cleaning your system

Silo cleaning should be undertaken at least annually, and on high-throughput sites twice a year. Our expert teams operate to the highest standard, and the work can often be carried out alongside servicing and calibrations, saving you downtime time and costs. Why not book your Silo Cleaning

Should you be unfortunate enough to suffer an Infestation of, for example, wasps or flour beetles, you need the situation rectifying quickly and thoroughly. Asking for an Infestation Works Quotation is the first step, and our expert team will be in touch to talk you through the steps to resuming production.

You may find residual product in you conveying lines; this will reduce your transfer rate, cause blockages and potentially indicate a fault in your system. Conveying system cleaning will restart your production and our engineers will check your system over for faults. Check our engineer availability to book in your conveying system clean.

You will receive a report of the works undertaken and certification for each of the pieces of equipment cleaned.

  • Calibrating, testing and certifying your system

Your system needs to be regularly checked and certified for accuracy, quality assurance, and audits by your customers or other third parties.

Often carried out as part of a servicing contract, our engineers will be able to:

    • Calibrate your silos and weigh hoppers
    • Test your magnet strength
    • Test your water dosing system
    • Earthing continuity checks

You will receive individual certification for each of the pieces of equipment tested.

Regular testing often highlights issues with your equipment that you may not yet be aware of, allowing you to put in place preventative or restorative measures.

  • Troubleshooting, emergency support and repairs

Is your system not operating as it should, or has suddenly gone down at the worst possible moment?

Our engineers are available every day and cover the whole of the UK, and can even assist you with systems that we did not initially install.

Request a visit by one of our engineers to identify and investigate the system. We will send someone with appropriate mechanical, electrical or software knowledge and they will suggest ways to resolve your problem.

    • If you need us to make an emergency repair, we will do our best to get you back up and running straight away.
    • For non-emergency repairs, we will programme these in with you to have the least effect on your production.
  • Supplying critical spares and parts

You can ask us to survey your site – one of our experienced engineers will visit you, and will produce a Critical Spares List for you based on his findings, along with pricing for the suggested items.

If you have identified an item you need replacing or for stock, ask us for a spare part quote

You can benefit from our discounts and lead-times we have achieved through strong relationships with a wide range of suppliers in the UK and the EU.

Once you have your ordered your parts, we can send them to site with one of our site engineers to fit them. This frees up your engineers to undertake their day-to-day operations and gives you piece of mind that the parts will be fitted in line with the manufacturer’s instructions.
